Dragonfly I

Alyssa has always been engaged with music and fine art from an early age. She began her formal training in the early 2000s at Wichita State University as a ceramicist. When she moved back to Texas, she applied to the Glassell School of Art, a part of the Museum of Fine Art Houston. She studied for over ten years under Arthur Turner, an internationally known watercolorist. She also paints with oil and acrylic, but additionally loves the art of writing icons in egg tempera.
