Recently, when I was unable to find words to express the grief and
heartache I was feeling, I found myself capturing memories of the
moment in images. I was also drawn to friends who helped me hold
on to joy. The friends and the images gave me a sense of belonging.
They helped me remember God’s love and embrace when I felt He
was far away.
These photos were taken in consecutive order throughout that week,
black-and-white to color. They illustrate how I slowly rediscovered
the chase of God’s love through His people.
