Advent Prayer:
Holy and Loving God, In this season of waiting, I turn my heart toward You the One whose love breaks through the darkness, whose mercy turns the world upside down and makes all things new.
I confess that too often I grow weary of the world’s pain the division, the violence, the injustice that seems unending. Yet, O God, you remind me that love is on the way. Not a gentle love that leaves things as they are, but a fierce and tender love that dares to transform us.
Kindle in me the courage to choose the light of faith, hope, and love even when shadows seem stronger.
Teach me to trust that Your light will not be overcome. Open my eyes to see You born again and again in the faces of the poor and the weary, in the struggle for justice.
God of love, help me to find You where You have always chosen to dwell, among the forgotten, the displaced, and the brokenhearted.
Move me from comfort to compassion, from indifference to action, from fear to solidarity. Let every act of mercy, every cry for justice, become a bold proclamation: that Your reign of peace is near, that Your love is stronger than fear.
Come, Lord Jesus. Come, and make me an instrument of Your justice, bearer of Your peace, and a reflection of Your boundless love.

Oración de Adviento
Dios de amor, en este tiempo de espera, prepara mi corazón. Quítame la duda de que tu misericordia pueda cambiar este mundo. Confieso que con demasiada frecuencia me canso del dolor del mundo, de la división, la violencia y la injusticia que parecen no tener fin.
Sin embargo, Tu, me recuerdas que el amor viene en camino. Y este amor no es dócil sino que es fuerte y transformador. No deja las cosas como están, siempre busca transformar.
Enciende en mí el valor para elegir la luz de la fe, la esperanza y el amor. Aun cuando la oscuridad parezca más fuerte. Enséñame a confiar en que Tu luz no será vencida. Abre mis ojos para verte nacer una y otra vez en los rostros de los pobres y los cansados, en la lucha por la justicia.
Dios de amor, ayúdame a encontrarte donde siempre has elegido habitar: entre los olvidados, los desplazados y los de corazón quebrantado.
Muéveme de la comodidad a la compasión, de la indiferencia a la acción, del miedo a la solidaridad. Haz que cada acto de misericordia, cada clamor por justicia, se convierta en una valiente proclamación: que Tu reino de paz está cerca, que Tu amor es más fuerte que el miedo.
Ven, Señor Jesús. Ven, y hazme instrumento de Tu justicia, Hazme portador de Tu paz y reflejo de Tu amor infinito.
Dios, dame la valentía de seguir a tu hijo, Jesús. Ayúdame a luchar por la Justicia y sé mi luz en la oscuridad. Amen.
